What's the difference between "Buyers," "Inquirers," and "Compiled?"

Buyers are direct mail respondents that have actually responded to direct mail from M&C and placed an order with us.

Inquirers are direct mail respondents that have responded to direct mail from M&C seeking additional information about our products, but have not yet placed an order.

Both Buyers and Inquirers have been proven to respond to direct mail.

Compiled names have been culled from the yellow pages, CPA societies, licensing boards, and the like, but have not as yet responded to any direct mail from M&C.
